Dr. Eric Leal is a Saint Joseph’s Academy alumnus and graduate of Texas A&M University. Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, he grew up inspired by the work of his grandfather, the late Dr. Ernesto S. Davila, DDS. Seeing firsthand the impact his grandfather had on patients and the community sparked Dr. Leal’s passion for dentistry. Today, he is honored to continue that family legacy by caring for patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Dr. Dannika Rodriguez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She is a proud alumna of John B. Alexander High School and a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Rodriguez is deeply passionate about providing high-quality dental care to the community she has always called home.

Dr. Leal and Dr. Rodriguez met while attending The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, where they both earned their Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. Their shared dedication to dentistry and patient care brought them together, and today they are excited to practice side by side as they build their future together.

For the past 27 years, My Dentist has proudly served the Laredo community under the exceptional leadership of Dr. Sonia G. Rodriguez. Dr. Leal and Dr. Rodriguez are honored to continue the legacy she created and are excited to welcome both new and returning patients as they carry that tradition of care forward for years to come.
